About
I'm Angela Corbett - a licensed therapist, leader, and small business owner.
For more than fifteen years I've sat with people through anxiety, trauma, grief, and the kind of life transitions that don't fit neatly into a two-week leave policy.
During my journey, I started hearing a similar story from the other side of the desk. A manager would tell me about someone on their team who was clearly falling apart, and how badly they wanted to do right by that person. They just had no idea what to say and were afraid of making it worse.
Mentaliti was created to help fill the gap between the real people who show up to work, and the organizations that truly care about them.

Trauma, anxiety, grief, and life transitions, with real people - not just theory. I know what distress looks like well before it turns into a crisis.
I've founded two businesses, hired people, made payroll, and lost sleep over decisions that affected both. When I tell a leader what's realistic, it's because I've been on that side of it too.
Often the most useful thing I teach is what not to do. Your managers don't need to become therapists. They need to know where their job ends and mine begins.
No jargon and no clinical distance. If I can't explain something in a way your team can use on a Tuesday morning, it isn't much use to anyone.
Because good intentions eventually run out of road. Because companies want to support their people and don't know how. Because leaders carry far more than they'll admit out loud. And because the therapists who've built practices of their own are often the least supported people in the room.
All of that is fixable, and I am here to help you figure it out.
